Kirby Star Allies is the latest title in the Kirby series. This game, like the other games in this long standing series has Kirby, the star of the series go on a quest to bring peace to Dream land. Inhaling enemies to get their abilities so Kirby can use these abilities to solve puzzles and beat up all sorts of foes. But this time around he’s got some company. Unlike other entries in the series, Kirby can befriend any enemy he can get a copy ability from. He does this by throwing hearts at them which is done at the tap of a button. The game is fairly easy to play through so its great for younger audiences but its fun enough that even older gamers would like to have a go. There are some really beautiful looking stages in the game so its very nice to look at. There are some very fun and imaginative boss fights, ranging from new original fights to new spins on familiar foes. There are a few downsides to this game though as it only runs at 30 fps, which doesn’t ruin the experience. The game also feels a bit short for me. Despite these complaints this game is very good and any Nintendo fan would find it a treat.
