So a few days ago Nintendo added a bunch of these placeholder looking stuff on the official Animal crossing section of the U.S. Nintendo site. It looks like someone was preparing to release a bunch of information about a new Animal Crossing game possibly coming to the Nintendo Switch. So basically on the site it has got six news articles. Theses news articles have got a picture of the Amiibo festival box art and below this they all say “News article description goes here.” Which to me sounds like instructions some put there so someone would now where to put the information they wrote. When you click on one of these articles it sends you to a article. At the top of this article it has a Nintendo selects picture. This Nintendo selects picture is very interesting as I think it might feature some new games. Below this it seems to have a header. This header just says “News article title text goes here.”, once again its just some more instructions. Below the header its got the date and further down it has a very interesting story, which I will copy from the site.
“One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections.”
This sounds very Animal Crossing like and further below its just the same picture from before and below this is the rest of the tale.
The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked.
- “What’s happened to me?” he thought. It wasn’t a dream.
- His room, a proper human room although a little too small, lay peacefully between its four familiar walls.
- A collection of textile samples lay spread out on the table – Samsa was a travelling salesman – and above it there hung a picture that he had recently cut out of an illustrated magazine and housed in a nice, gilded frame.
- It showed a lady fitted out with a fur hat and fur boa who sat upright, raising a heavy fur muff that covered the whole of her lower arm towards the viewer
I hope this means that there will be a new Animal Crossing game coming if so I’m very hyped for the next Nintendo direct and E3 for more info. There will be a link to the site just below this text.
